Avatar

Does the thought of what lies beneath give you the heebie-jeebies? These horror thrillers on Lionsgate Play will awaken your deep-seated primal fears of the ocean. There’s nothing quite like man-versus-nature thrillers that pit man against the merciless sea to keep you on the edge of your seat.

‘The Requin’

What’s supposed to be a romantic getaway in Vietnam turns deadly when a tropical storm sweeps Jaelyn (Alicia Silverstone) and Kyle’s (James Tupper) villa out to sea. But getting trapped on a makeshift raft with an injured husband is unfortunately not the end of Jaelyn’s worries: A school of hungry sharks is slowly closing in, waiting for the kill.

‘Jersey Shore Shark Attack’

A fourth of July weekend on the Jersey Shore descends into chaos when underwater drilling for a new park disturbs a horde of prehistoric sharks. A group of friends, reminiscent of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” cast, must band together to battle the swarm of deadly sharks and survive the carnage.

‘Open Water’

Based on the harrowing true story of Tom and Eileen Lonergan, “Open Water” will make anyone think twice about booking those diving escapades. During an expedition in the Caribbean, Daniel (Daniel Travis) and Susan (Blanchard Ryan) accidentally get left behind in shark-infested waters.
