What makes Duterte the worst not just as president but as a citizen. Yes, the worst citizens are the hypocrites, who try to make themselves appear as good but do the opposite. Duterte proclaimed a war on drugs not to solve the problem but to eliminate [enemies]. He proclaimed war on corruption but only for those against him. We are witnesses to flagrant stealing and taking of public funds among his appointees and minions.

Duterte, the worst president? Could be. But so many presidents of the country have not fared as well that selecting the worst apple from a barrel of bad and rotten apples is not worth my time. All I want to know is, whether the Philippines has better hope of ever becoming a less corrupt country. Because if the politicians now and those that would come later are still corrupt then the country is doomed, at least for this century.
