Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) is now set to turn a new leaf with the transition to a new management after two fruitful years of operations led by its former President, Dongwook Lee.

Replacing him is Jiho Son, who is set to spearhead HMPH’s new operations, effective October 15, 2024.

Under Lee, who has served as the brand’s head honcho since its inauguration in June of 2022, HMPH achieved 32.4-percent growth–so far–and has expanded its dealer network to 34 dealers, with further expansion in the coming months.

Moreover, under Lee’s management, the brand also launched a variety of vehicles and executed several experiential events during his two-year term.

“HMPH expresses its deepest gratitude to Mr. Lee for his dedicated leadership since the brand’s inauguration,” stated HMPH managing director, Cecil Capacete.

According to him, Lee’s achievements have helped establish the brand’s image as a trusted automotive partner in the country.

Jiho Son, on the other hand, is bringing with him a vast experience, serving as the Head of Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) Sales Innovation Group. Prior to this, he also led the India and Asia-Pacific Sales Support Team.

With this new chapter, the brand looks forward to continuing its commitment to innovating the Filipino’s car ownership experience, providing them mobility solutions and other motoring needs.
