Talk of the Town: Corruption on public display

Comments on “Corruption on public display,” (On The Move by Segundo Eclar Romero, 10/29/24) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:

To ask for anybody’s watch is unethical and rude. So, it was Duterte who first demonstrated that it is an acceptable thing to do even from a President. But be reminded that Duterte is a walking or talking demonstration of rudeness! Practically everything he does is in violation of good manners and right conduct.

To give an outstanding PMA cadet a watch as present is one thing, but asking for the president’s watch is unbecoming an Officer and Gentleman
