Cool Dongfeng “ICE” offers

Dongfeng Motors Philippines (DFM), in partnership with the Diamond EV Auto Corporation, is centering its effort on sustainability, exceptional quality and customer centricity. This has somehow paved the way for the brand to penetrate the local market with various feats, such as: product launches, sales performances, dealer network expansions, brand recognition, as well as customer satisfaction.

Family-oriented Forthing U-Tour

One of the products that have represented its exceptional built-quality paired with a value-for-money proposition is the Forthing U-Tour premium multipurpose vehicle.

For starters, the Forthing U-Tour was first unveiled globally at the Munich Motor Show in Germany in September 2023. It was designed to be a luxurious and stylish people carrier. The premium vehicle is set to rival the likes of more established MPVs of its segment, such as the Toyota Innova.

The vehicle’s signature design comes from its large grille with chrome bars married to top-notch LED headlamp units and daytime running lights. The bold exterior design is what Dongfeng dubs as “Front Dynamics”, which from this front fascia flows bloody lines that suggest a forward motion all making its unique character profile.

Inside, this seven-seater boasts of spacious seats with lumbar support, which is likewise marked by well-endowed rooms in the second and third rows. Its second row is equipped with captain seats wrapped with light gray leather with gold piping, complemented with all other creature comforts, such as: multifunctional leather steering wheel (tilt and telescopic), front auto dual air conditioner, 10-way electric driver seat adjustment, seat massage and ventilation for the driver seat, 60:40 rear set folding and a panoramic sunroof, just to name a few.

For entertainment, it’s equipped with a 10.25-inch smart screen mobile interconnection, paired with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Under its hood is a turbo gasoline four-cylinder engine, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission which transfers power to its front wheels, delivering 197hp and 285N-m of torque.

The Forthing U-Tour comes in two variants: the Lux, priced at P1,358,000; and the top-tier, Noble, tagged at P1,558,000.

Amazing Aelus Mage

Another vehicle under its fold is the Aeolus Mage, a sporty and dynamic five-seater crossover sport utility vehicle.

This latest Aeolus Mage is the brand’s latest entry in the segment that will make other contenders a run for their money. It goes against the likes of the GAC Emkoo, the Changan CS55, the Ford Territory, and the MG One.

It’s particularly highlighted by its “Gamepad style”, multifunctional leather steering wheel and 13.2-inch touchscreen LCD infotainment system.

Powering it is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, which provides 203 hp and 305 N-m of torque.

It is priced at P1,248,000, with an all-in down payment of P68,000.

Adding to its rich lineup of vehicles is the turbodiesel engine variant of the Rich 7. It is powered by a 2.3-liter, four-cylinder turbodiesel that’s developed by Renault and Nissan. It produces 165 hp and 420 N-m of torque. It likewise comes with a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels.

This workhorse boasts all-terrain tires, a sports bar, a snorkel, as well as front and rear differential locks, off-road protection frames, and a dedicated off-road display.

This pickup comes in three variants.

First is the 4×2 Upper, priced at P1,388,000, with an all-in DP of P78,000 with a monthly amortization ( 60 months) of P28,500 per month.

Next is the 4X4 Upper, priced at P1,488,000, with an all-in DP of P98,000, with a monthly amortization of P30,554 per month.

Finally, the 4X4 Tiger is tagged at p1,738,000, with an all-in DP of 118,000, which is offered with P35,687 per month.
