All I ever wanted
Finding the perfect car can be a tiresome task.
When you’re spending for the second most expensive thing in your entire life (the first being your home), you really need to make sure that the vehicle you choose fits everything you need. And that’s just what Raffy Verano got when bought his grayChery Tiggo 7 Pro in 2022.
“The car itself is amazing,” he told Inquirer Mobility in an exclusive interview.
“It has all the features I wanted in my first car and the drive is fantastic,” he added. “Once the car arrived in my garage, I was just so excited and grateful. It was my first time purchasing my own car, so it was definitely a huge achievement for me.”
Versatile and well-equipped
The Chery Tiggo 7 Pro was launched locally in January 2021, offering Filipino car buyers superb value for money in the five-seat compact crossover segment.
The original Tiggo 7 Pro internal combustion engine model was powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter, twin-cam, 16-valve inline-4 gasoline engine pumping out a healthy 143 horsepower and 210 Newton-meters of torque, mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Besides having a generous 475 liters of cargo space with the rear seats up and a cavernous 1,500 liters with the rear seats folded, the Tiggo 7 Pro comes with a bevy of standard features that make your drive more convenient.
These include a 7-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Tiggo 7 Pro also gets a 360-degree camera, wireless smartphone charger, electrically adjustable front seats, panoramic moonroof and dual-zone climate control.
It’s now the hybrid model tasked to continue the campaign for the Tiggo 7. For those who want versatility with even greater efficiency, the Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid mates the 1.5-liter turbo engine with a 48-volt system. Combined output is increased to 154 horsepower and 230 Newton-meters of torque, mated to a CVT.
The Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, with a promo price of P1,160,000, adds a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a heated driver’s seat. And of course, owners are exempted from Metro Manila’s number-coding scheme.
Easy to buy and service
Verano said buying his dream Chery was made easier by the dealership, which made sure to answer all his questions.
“The staff and team were really teaching me and helping me through all the necessary things I needed for my purchase,” he said.
Verano also praised Chery Auto Philippines’ Premium Preserv after-sales package, which is one of the best in the Philippine automotive industry. This includes a 5-year/150,000-kilometer (whichever comes first) general vehicle warranty, free roadside assistance and three years of free Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS).
“What makes Chery great is that their customer service is unmatched and they’re always willing to go out of their way to help you,” he said.
Verano added that he would gladly recommend a Chery, especially to the people he cares about.
“Until today, I still try and sell it to my friends and family!,” he said.
There really is no better salesperson than a happy customer.
