Nespresso’s compact machines for coffee lovers on the go
For coffee drinkers, it’s always ideal to have a cup of coffee at hand. The circumstances can sometimes make that ideal difficult, but Nespresso comes to the rescue with smaller versions of its beloved machines: the Vertuo Pop and Essenza Mini.
When Nespresso began in Switzerland in 1986, its goal was to make a perfect cup of coffee accessible to millions, without requiring a skilled barista. It continues to write that story by creating more compact machines with the same clockwork precision.
Imagine a coffeeholic now able to bring their Nespresso machine wherever they go. A great cup of coffee is, now more than ever, within easy reach. There’s no longer a need to agonize over limited counter space.
A breakthrough
The Vertuo line was a breakthrough in Nespresso’s portfolio, addressing the demand for both traditional espresso and other brewing styles.
The Vertuo Pop is the smallest Vertuo machine ever—and the most colorful, too. Its vibrant design is sure to appeal to the young, mobile, and cosmopolitan.
With the press of a button, you can brew four sizes of coffee: Espresso (40 mL), Double Espresso (80 mL), Gran Lungo (150 mL), and Mug (230 mL).
Even smaller is the Essenza Mini. While the Vertuo Pop measures 13.6 x 42.6 x 25 cm and weighs 3.5 kg, the Essenza Mini is just 8.3 x 33 x 20.4 cm and approximately 2.3 kg. In fact, it’s the smallest Nespresso machine available.
The Essenza Mini combines ease of use, unrivaled coffee quality, and a minimalist aesthetic. Though compact, it opens you up to the full world of Nespresso coffee.
Good coffee
Nespresso wouldn’t have made it to over 80 countries in 40 years without offering top-tier machines. After all, an espresso machine is only as good as the coffee it brews. Nespresso capsules hold the goodness of carefully selected coffee cherries from 18 countries, skillfully roasted and ground by masters.
At times, Nespresso releases special editions to further elevate the drinking experience. One such instance is its current limited-edition coffees for both Original and Vertuo machines.
These capsules, inspired by “Unforgettable Holidays,” feature new flavors co-created by Michelin-starred Chef Jean Imbert, who won France’s “Top Chef” competition in 2012.
Unforgettable Espresso is an aromatic Arabica blend with Robusta, delivering toasted cereal and woody notes. Produced with beans from Peru and Costa Rica, it’s best served as an espresso or a latte macchiato for Original machines, or a double espresso or cappuccino for Vertuo.
Almond Croissant Flavor offers a smooth, dreamy coffee with almond and buttery pastry notes. It’s crafted using 100 percent Latin-American and African Arabicas. Enjoy it as an espresso or lungo on the Original, or in a mug on the Vertuo.
Peanut and Roasted Sesame Flavor features notes of toasted sesame, popcorn, and mixed nuts. Ideal as an espresso or lungo on the Original, or as a Mug or Reverso on the Vertuo.
Limited edition
If it becomes impossible to brew fresh coffee on the go, Nespresso’s Limited Edition Travel Mug is the perfect solution. The design takes you on a scenic journey across the world, reminding you of the adventures Nespresso’s flavors can transport you to.
With a 400 mL capacity, it’s more than enough for two Gran Lungo servings! Its metallic body is made from at least 90% recycled stainless steel.
Come to think of it, wouldn’t this mug, along with the machines and capsules, make a perfect gift for your coffee-loving loved ones this season?
