With a deep legacy of winemaking dating back thousands of years, Israel is now eager to share its fine bottles with Filipino wine lovers and travelers, according to Israeli Ambassador Ilan Fluss.

“The Philippine market has matured, in my opinion. So it’s time,” said at the L’Chaim! Discover Israeli Wine event on Dec. 4. “It’s obvious that we have competition here, but what Israel can offer is really the higher end of wine—and we have so much to share.”

The event offered wine enthusiasts, hoteliers and distributors to a curated tasting of wines from 15 of Israel’s top wineries.
