BYD Greenfield offers electrified mobility in Mandaluyong City

BYD Cars Philippines is on track to have 25 operational dealers by the end of 2024 following the inauguration of BYD Greenfield Mandaluyong on Saturday.

Located on 833 Sheridan Street, Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City, the 1,642-square-meter property is the second under Iconic Dealership Inc., the dealer arm of BYD Cars Philippines parent company ACMobility.

Mandaluyong City Mayor Benjamin Abalos and his daughter-in-law, Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos, were the guests of honor at the inauguration ceremony that incorporated an elaborate dragon dance to attract prosperity and good luck for the dealership.

“The prime location of BYD Greenfield Mandaluyong is crucial for our expansion strategy in the Philippines,” said BYD Cars Philippines managing director, Bob Palanca.

“We aim to bring electrification closer to businesses and communities in this important district central to Metro Manila and nearby provinces, making it easier for customers to transition to sustainable transportation solutions,” he added.

BYD Greenfield Mandaluyong features a six-car showroom, an 85-square-meter customer lounge, dedicated negotiation spaces and a two-car releasing area. It also has a 310-square meter, six-bay open workshop that serves as a pick-up and drop-off point for body and paint services provided by the Central Body Shop in Alabang.

The carmaker said the facility is outfitted with a full set of BYD diagnostic equipment and specialized service tools, which allow BYD-certified technicians to perform preventive maintenance, general repairs, battery replacements and diagnostics unique to electric vehicles (EV).

“Honed by BYD’s 30 years of experience as a technology leader, this dealership is designed to provide a seamless experience for all our customers, offering world-class sales and aftersales services for the growing number of BYD EV owners in the Philippines,” said BYD Cars Philippines country head Aiffy Liu.

The BYD Greenfield Mandaluyong showroom is open Monday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Meanwhile, its after-sales services are available from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
