Talk of the Town: End the export of Filipinos
Comments on “End the export of Filipinos,” (Editorial, 12/17/24) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:
Because our country has only a limited number of factories and industrial hubs, Filipinos have to go abroad to work as laborers, domestic helpers, etc. On the other hand, we do not see Americans, Europeans, Singaporeans, Koreans, Malaysians, etc working in the Philippines. The only foreigners coming to the Philippines to work are those working in Pogos. What a country!

NOTHING will change until the scourge of corruption is [brought] under control! In order to assist with this, the anti-dynasty provisions need to be introduced and the banking secrecy laws repealed!

It will only end if Filipinos start voting for leaders who can deliver real economic progress to the country.
