K-pop stars’ luck in the New Year

We get so invested in our favorite stars that we want to know everything about them—even the forecast of their luck for the year.

We chatted with Feng Shui queen Marites Allen for her insights on what this year is going to bring for some of the K-pop stars born in the Year of the Snake. We covered 1989 and 2001, which includes idols from second and third generation groups.

Allen says that the forecast is incomplete because we don’t know the exact time of birth of the artists. Their birthdate isn’t enough—time is necessary to make a comprehensive forecast.

Fans who want to help boost their idols’ luck and increase their fortune should wear their lucky colors when attending their events, says Allen. It could be your outfit, an accessory, or even your underwear.

Taeyeon

Birthday: March 9, 1989

Our K-pop queen Taeyeon will hold her concert here in March. She is a Yang Earth which defines her as an astute and very strong person. She’s like a Mountain—she seldom changes her decisions once she makes it. Her wealth is expected to increase this year. Her money luck is expected to last for the next 20 years.

Lucky months: June to September.

Lucky colors: White and silver

Onew

Birthday: Dec. 14, 1989

Shinee’s leader Onew has the most exciting chart of all, according to Allen, because he originally didn’t have a Wood element. But when this year came, his power shot up.

His chart is good for a relationship because it is harmonizing this year. Investments in transportation will be good for him in terms of wealth.

Lucky month: March, April, August, January

Lucky color: Red

Heeseung

Birthday: Oct. 15, 2001

Enhypen’s ace and all-rounder Heeseung is also projected to have a good year because his elements will balance out this year.

He was born with a lot of metal, thus a lot of percentage for friendships. But this drops this year in favor of wealth and intelligence.

Allen says that this drop does not mean losing friends. It’s just luckier for him to focus on his creativity and investing in assets. This year is a good year to consider collaborations with different brands. Allen did say that this might not be a good year for romance for Heeseung, and that he should focus on his career first.

Beomgyu

Birthday: March 13, 2001

Tomorrow X Together’s youngest member has very good year ahead in terms of wealth. Allen says that he is set for life when it comes to money, especially if he continues what he is doing. But for the time being, he shouldn’t pursue a love life.

As a Yin Wood, Allen says Beomgyu will be able to make people fall in love with him easily. According to his zodiac, he is very nurturing and understanding.

He is also very lucky in terms of wealth. He is going to receive a lot of support for his creativity this year, and he needs to take advantage of that.

RyuJin

Birthday: April 17, 2001

Itzy’s RyuJin made fans crazy with her iconic shoulder dance. We found her to be very kind and intuitive when we met her a couple of years ago.

Allen says that she is a Yin Wood which makes her personality to be very trusting. She is very considerate and accommodating.

Her chart equalizes this year and she should focus on her money makers, which is singing and dancing.

She should spend time on herself and treat herself to become stronger physically and emotionally. She should take a nap if she needs it.

Chaeryeong

Birthday: June 5, 2001

Itzy’s sweet girl Chaeryeong was born to be an artist. It’s written in her chart. It also says she could be very comfortable with people but she should be wary of deals and contracts this year.

It’s going to be very difficult for her to have a love life because she won’t have the time for it. But her wealth is going to grow bigger until she’s in her late 60s. If her money is put into good use, it’s going to pay off for her.

The chart for this Stray Kid and brand-new Bottega Veneta ambassador read that he has a strong personality.

He can be a jack of all trades with a need to please everyone, which is consistent with his personality.

While Allen said his wealth dropped this year, this could be because he bought something to bring it down. In terms of wealth, what he has right now is not even close to what he could achieve.

His power element shoots up this year, which is very exciting. His adaptability is going to pay off. If he wants to have a girlfriend, Allen says to go for it.
