The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has begun talks to expand job opportunities and protection for overseas Filipino workers (OFW) in 10 countries.
During the Global Labor Market Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday DMW Undersecretary Patricia Yvonne Caunan met with representatives from Saudi Arabia, Finland, the Bahamas, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Libya to discuss employment possibilities.
“They all expressed their interest in our Filipino skilled workers,” Caunan said in a statement.
