The pandemic didn’t stop the AAP from providing more than just roadside assistance to its members. In 2021, the National Auto Club resumed its tradition of raffling off a brand-new car at the annual general membership assembly. With the winning e-coupon number 0-0-1-0-4-1-5, Constancio Reyes became the proud owner of a 2021 AAP Limited Edition Toyota Fortuner.
“Imagine, for just a little over Php2,000 AAP membership fee, you get a chance to win a car. Indeed, when you run into trouble, AAP is always there to help,” said Reyes, who had been a member for two years. Reyes extended his heartfelt gratitude to the club when AAP president Joe Ferreria personally delivered the vehicle to his residence.
Building on the success of the grand raffle revival, AAP took excitement to the next level the following year by raffling off not one, but two brand-new vehicles. Two lucky members each drove home a prize—one drove off an AAP Limited Edition Mazda Miata and the other, a Suzuki Vitara All Grip.
The anticipation was palpable during the AAP 91st Anniversary Grand Raffle in 2022 as the winning numbers were revealed. On screen, the e-roulette spun, slowing down to unveil the lucky sequence: “0-0-2-3-2-3-7.” Then, the thrilling announcement—”Eddie Lumanog, you’ve won a 2022 AAP Limited Edition Suzuki Vitara All Grip,” exclaimed Caco Tirona, the event’s emcee.
The e-roulette spun a second time, building suspense before revealing the next winner: “0-3-3-3-7-8. Congratulations Brian Donato! You are now the owner of a brand-new AAP-Limited Edition Mazda Miata MX-5!”
2023 was even grander as more lucky winners were added to the list. During the first leg of the raffle in April, the numbers “0-0-1-9-2-9-4” changed the life of Rebo Santos. He had been a club member for almost two years when he won a brand-new Nissan Navara on that fateful day.
“What I love about AAP is that they don’t only do roadside assistance and towing services, but they also assist people who are going on international trips through their international driving permit. So far, I’m happy with my membership as everyone is incredibly helpful, especially when I’m renewing my membership. It’s easy as 1-2-3,” said Rebo Santos.
In November of the same year, the grand prize, a Honda Civic RS Turbo, went to Ronaldo San Pablo who had the winning coupon number 0031139. Through his purchase of AAP Insurance, the Civic became not just a grand prize—but the gift of a lifetime for his son, who couldn’t be happier about their win.
Giving back the value of AAP Membership continued well into 2024. For Raul Quismorio, the equivalent of his 16 years of membership and winning e-coupon number “0-0-4-9-8-4-2” was a brand-new Hyundai Tucson in amazonite grey.
“One thing that I could say about AAP is that in our business, it helps a lot. It’s like a kind of ease – our sense of relief when trouble comes. I was doubtful at first when I found out about it, but when I called the AAP Manager, Ms. Maricel, she said I won, and I’m grateful. This is the grandest raffle prize that I have ever received. Thank you, AAP!” Mr. Quismorio said.
Christmas came early for AAP member Erika Mae Aguba. With her winning e-coupon 0038983, Aguba with her two sons claimed the latest AAP Grand Raffle prize last December: a dark turquoise 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross hybrid.
