Sharpen your gaming skills and bring your A-game, as Geek+Pop Alpha is coming to The World Trade Center Hall A from Feb. 28 to March 2.
Geek+Pop Alpha is a video gaming event that puts the spotlight on console gaming, fighting games, retro gaming, arcade culture, and other pop culture goodness—cosplay, cosplay photography, anime, tabletop gaming, and everything attendees have come to love from Geek+Pop events.
There will be tons of shopping too, with merchants and artists offering their wares at the Market Section.
Geek+Pop Alpha is the chance for anime fans and gamers to meet one of the most iconic voices in pop culture—voice actress Yuko Miyamura who voiced Asuka Langley Soryu in the legendary anime “Neon Genesis Evangelion” and Chun-Li in Marvel vs. Capcom and Street Fighter Alpha video games series for consoles and arcades. Other characters Miyamura has voiced include Kazuha Toyama from “Detective Conan,” Larxene from “Kingdom Hearts,” Akane from the “Pokemon” anime, and Lei Lei from “Darkstalkers.”
