People consider a lot of things when buying a property.  But one factor that adds great value are the amenities carefully considered by real estate developers.

Amenities refer to additional features and facilities that enhance a property’s value and appeal, influencing buyer and tenant decisions. Whether residential or commercial, well-designed amenities provide benefits that set properties apart.

Here are some notable real estate developments globally with exceptional amenities that elevate their desirability.

200 Amsterdam

New York City, United States

Timeless elegance and elevated living are the keywords to describe 200 Amsterdam in New York City.

Located between Central Park and the Hudson River, 200 Amsterdam is located in a neighborhood of important institutions like the Lincoln Center. Its location inspired its unique amenities like the Rehearsal Room, where seasoned musical residents can enjoy the separate soundproof room, and the Little Composers Room, which comes complete with a performance stage, a costume area, and an instrument nook.

Aside from musical enclaves, the property also has exclusive access to Lincoln Center, where residents can enjoy a bespoke VIP membership.

Other amenities of the 200 Amsterdam include The Club Room, which serves as its private club; a 75-foot-long saltwater pool with an invigorating whirlpool; a temperature-controlled experiential rain shower; an infrared sauna; and a steam room outfitted with soothing Thermo Aspen Cedar.

According to reports, these experiential and exclusive amenities are part of what made 200 Amsterdam among the most expensive contracts in New York.

Anaha

Honolulu City, Hawaii

Located in one of Honolulu’s most distinguished urban neighborhoods, Anaha in Ward Village is a 311-unit building offering a diverse range of sophisticated residences. Its second residential condominium tower has a specific amenity that has won the attention of many people.

Its most novel feature is a glass-bottomed, saltwater pool which extends 15 feet off the edge of the building’s seventh floor. Supported by cantilevers, the 75-foot swimming pool was the first of its kind in Hawaii when it opened in 2018. The pool was conceptualized by Surfacedesign, the project’s landscape architects.

Aside from providing sweeping views of the coast and downtown Honolulu, the 40-story Anaha tower creates residential homes in the previously industrial and retail-focused district to create a thriving mixed-use community.

An example of property-specific amenity is the gallery space of the Park Towne Place Museum District Residences in Philadelphia.

The four towers of Park Towne Place, which are within walking distance to major museums and art colleges in the area, are home to a vibrant arts program. The property also hosts hundreds of works of art in its lobbies and gallery spaces. This complex has a permanent art collection but also features temporary exhibits and artist workshops.

The developer partnered with a nonprofit art curator to create the community’s displays and arrange its extensive array of regular arts programming, including artists’ talks, panels, workshops, and drawing parties.

Other amenities include a fitness center, an on-site market, a pub bar, a salon and spa, and a gorgeous pool that keeps residents of the place happy.
