A ‘cinematic’ fan meeting awaits Jisoo fans in Manila
Following the release of her debut solo EP “Amortage,” Jisoo—a member of the phenomenal K-pop girl group Blackpink—is set to embark on her first solo fan meeting tour.
Titled “Lights, Love, Action!,” this series of shows—mounted by Collective Touring Philippines—will have the South Korean pop star visiting seven cities across Asia, including Manila on March 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Tickets go on sale March 4 at TicketNet.
Taking cues from the themes of “Amortage,” Jisoo’s upcoming fan meeting will feature an “immersive” and “cinematic” concept, with segments inspired by the four tracks in the said collection: “Your Love,” “Tears,” “Hugs & Kisses,” and the well-received electro-pop lead single, “Earthquake.”
As its title suggests, “Amortage”—a portmanteau of the word “amor,” meaning “love,” and “montage”—is a collection of stories about the different stages and facets of love, each one encapsulated in a “dreamy” and “pop-inspired” musical confection.
Reinterpreted for a live setting, the concept tells of Jisoo and her fans “piecing together fragments of love” to create their very own montage of precious memories.
