The 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) celebrated its 20th anniversary with a record-breaking 170,900 attendees from April 10 to 13 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. Despite challenges like roadworks that caused traffic congestion, the event showcased over 400 vehicles across 33,000sqm, featuring 28 automotive brands, four motorcycle brands, and three truck manufacturers.

The theme “Driven by Connection” underscored MIAS’s mission to foster global automotive partnerships and innovation.

Thousands of attendees experienced test drives of the newest cars and trucks, including the latest hybrid and electric vehicles. BPI, as the exclusive auto loans sponsor, facilitated financing options for car purchases, aiding both buyers and exhibitors. It also provided rebates and waived certain fees exclusive to the four-day event.

At the MIAS, the spotlight wasn’t just on cars. Cristel Galang, representing Aito, was crowned Miss MIAS 2025, captivating judges and audiences alike with her poise, charm, and strong presence on stage. Adding to her achievements, Cristel also took home the People’s Choice Award, reflecting overwhelming support from eventgoers and online voters.

Another highlight was the MIAS Petron Custom Classic Car Competition, this segment featured some of the best-restored and modified vehicles, attracting car enthusiasts and collectors. This year’s Best of Show award was given to Raldy Bayot, owner of the 1967 Toyota Sport 800 that was restored by the Sushi Factory. The car features a 2-cylinder boxer engine and has all the period-correct accessories including the AM radio installed at the dashboard.
