Talk of the Town: A rightful veto

Comment on “A rightful veto,” (Editorial, 4/25/25) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:
Excellent editorial—It goes without saying that the power of diabolical money is already a cancer in our society, although not malignant, [it] is already engraved in the minds of our current public servants. It will augment the article that PHP 14TRIILION of PH funds goes to corruption, we must be self-sufficient and a developed country but we keep on electing pseudo public servants who worship diabolical monies. Gone are the years when public servants are based on merits not popularity and we are the best [in] Asia next to Japan. However, it is not hopeless, with your guidance and editorial comments, I fervently wish, a changed and new breed of Filipinos, if one door closes, the roof may open. Kudos to you.
