DigiPlus Interactive, together with BingoPlus, announced in March a P150 million investment in its social development arm, BingoPlus Foundation—a major step toward expanding its efforts to uplift communities across the Philippines.

Uplifting communities

BingoPlus Foundation is focused on uplifting Filipino communities through its core pillars namely technology education, accessible healthcare, community resilience, and responsible digitalization.

In 2024 alone, BingoPlus Foundation has pursued special projects and programs that have touched some 120,000 lives.

FutureSmart Program. This program was recognized with a Silver Anvil at the 59th Anvil Awards and a Gold Stevie at the 2024 APAC Stevie Awards for supporting over 5,200 individuals through technology education. IT scholarships were awarded to promising students and equipped public schools with robotics and programming tools. In partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), it provided vocational training in computer skills and digital design for persons with disabilities.

KalusuganPLUS. This initiative supported over 30,000 Filipinos by providing vaccines, eye care, medicines, diagnostic services, and health facilities to underserved communities. It also gave 18,614 residents in Bulacan, Cebu, and General Santos access to clean water and sanitation, while supplying medical equipment for senior home care and public health facility wards.

BingoPlus Foundation’s Project Clean uses the MVP Filtration System to provide clean water to communities in need.

KabuhayanPLUS. This program supported over 82,000 Filipinos through disaster relief and sustainable livelihood initiatives. With some P40 million allocated for emergency response, it provided swift aid to those affected by typhoons, volcanic eruptions, and other calamities. It also helped families recover by offering financial assistance and vocational training.

“Pusta de Peligro” campaign. BingoPlus Foundation also launched a campaign aimed at helping attendees recognize the signs of problem gambling and provide psychological first aid. The initiative offered financial coaching for jackpot winners and featured infomercials promoting self-regulation and responsible spending.

Expanding the programs

Looking ahead, the P150 million fund will enable the BingoPlus Foundation to expand its flagship programs, such as the Make-A-Wish Project, which has already impacted 37 cities across 20 provinces.

This investment supports the foundation’s ongoing commitment to investing in future talents and building resilient, healthy communities.

To achieve even greater heights, the Foundation invites changemakers, donors, and organizations to join hands in this mission, believing that collective efforts can multiply the good for more Filipinos.
