Lawmaker’s son assaulted in Boracay

Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada confirmed on Sunday that his son, Julian and his cousin, Jefferelly Vitug, were attacked by three individuals while vacationing at the resort island.

The senator said the attackers have already been arrested, but were not identified.

Charges have also been filed against them. Estrada said the victims were attacked around 2 a.m. on Saturday, while walking near the beachfront mini-mall in Barangay Balabag.
