Ayala Malls Arca South opening in 2025 to anchor dynamic district in Taguig

Metro Manila’s next major business district is fast taking shape as Ayala Land ramps up development of Arca South, a 74-ha masterplanned estate in Taguig City.

At the heart of this transformation is Ayala Malls Arca South, a key lifestyle and commercial destination set to open in December 2025.

The mall is poised to serve as the estate’s central hub, bringing together a curated mix of global and local retail brands, dining concepts, entertainment options, and civic spaces within a walkable community. Its launch marks a major milestone in Arca South’s evolution from blueprint to fully integrated urban district.

New way of thinking

“The first phase is launching at the end of the year, and it will be a reflection of a new way of thinking about what community centers are, most especially destination centers,” said Mariana Zobel de Ayala, head of Ayala Land’s Leasing and Hospitality Group.

“We envision Ayala Malls Arca South as the ultimate destination marketplace–fresh produce, flowers and plants, crafts, paluto, and coffee roasteries–all anchored on the best of the Philippines. If we succeed, it will be a place people will go out of their way to travel to,” she added.

Among the mall’s key features is a vibrant Food Hall designed as a convergence space for diverse flavors and cultures. A dedicated Market Hall will spotlight regional delicacies and fresh produce through a cook to-order dining concept, while a first-of-its-kind artisanal coffee hub will cater to professionals and digital nomads.

Robust momentum

Arca South is also seeing robust momentum in residential, healthcare, and infrastructure development.

Six residential developments from Ayala Land Premier, Alveo and Avida provide a range of housing options that blend luxury and convenience.

Complementing this is a growing portfolio of community anchors like the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital, the Philippines’ first dedicated cancer hospital; Landers Superstore, a membership-based retail hub; and The Arca South Pitch, home to Barça Academy Manila to support youth sports and recreation. Next year, The Blue Leaf will also open to offer a premium venue for social and corporate events.

Intermodal facility

Accessibility is expected to further improve with the completion of the Taguig City Integrated Terminal Exchange (TCITx).

Once operational, this intermodal facility will connect Arca South to Skyway, Southeast Metro Manila Expressway (C6), Metro Manila Subway and the North-South Commuter Railway, easing traffic congestion, providing alternative routes, and significantly reducing travel times.

Arca South reflects Ayala Land’s urban development model–integrating residential, commercial, office, and civic uses into a cohesive, people-first environment. Its prime location, robust infrastructure pipeline, and sustainability-led design position it as a long-term value driver for residents, businesses, and investors alike.
