Hyundai N clinches 5th straight class victory in Nürburgring 24-Hour Race

Hyundai Motor Company’s high-performance N brand clinched its fifth consecutive TCR class victory while marking its 10th straight appearance at the 24h Nürburgring last June 21-22 in Nurburg, Germany,
The annual 24-hour ‘Green Hell’ endurance race continues to serve as a premier platform for showcasing Hyundai’s technological excellence and motorsport prowess.
Hyundai N fielded two Elantra N TCR race cars in the TCR class and debuted the Elantra N1 Cup car in the SP3T class during the race that saw two Elantra N TCR race car completing one of the most world’s most demanding endurance tests.
Hyundai N’s Elantra N TCR (known as the Avante N TCR in Korea) swept the TCR class with a dominant one-two finish, securing Hyundai N’s fifth consecutive class win and underlining the superior durability and performance of N products.

The ADAC RAVENOL 24hr Nürburgring stands among the world’s most demanding endurance races, challenging drivers and teams to conquer the legendary 25.378-kilometer Nürburgring Nordschleife in a grueling 24-hour test of speed, skill and stamina. Since its debut at the event in 2016, Hyundai has leveraged this platform to advance the capabilities of its production-based N brand vehicles. The race also serves as a key data gathering opportunity to improve performance and durability, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
Hyundai N continues to dominate TCR class
Hyundai N’s TCR team secured its fifth consecutive class victory led by a German driver lineup featuring Marc Basseng, Manuel Lauck and Christer Joens in Elantra N #1. Meanwhile, the North American team made up of Bryson Morris, Michael Louis, Mason Filippi and Robert Wickens delivered a strong performance in Elantra N #2, finishing in a well-earned second place.
Wickens’ return to racing following a 2024 hiatus was especially noteworthy. Driving with a custom hand-control system, the paraplegic Canadian athlete once again demonstrated elite level skill and determination. His story of resilience embodies Hyundai Motor’s belief that motorsport is for anyone with the passion to dream.
