The book’s provenance further increases its value. Imagine a copy of Euclid’s Geometry with Isaac Newton’s handwritten marginal notes.

Reading books is an art, and it is a dying art, sadly. There is art in every book, everything was thoughtfully structured, planned, laid out, and I’m not even talking about the content yet. Nowadays, I buy on Kindle, but it can never replace holding, smelling and touching a real book!
