Talk of the Town: Legacy and redemption

Comments on “Legacy and redemption,” (Editorial, 7/4/25) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:
A leader with no intention of abusing his position and with an eye toward deterring future leaders from abusing power, will certainly consider joining the ICC. Once a member, though there is one year waiting time after a potential bad leader withdrew membership, this time a local law should be passed that makes membership irrevocable or as a minimum, the membership should be effective for the full term of the president that withdrew membership. Also, withdrawal should be concurred in by the Supreme Court not by Congress. This way, the President couldn’t play around ICC!

The thousands of MARTIAL LAW victims must be given justice by filing these cases before the ICC. It’s never too late.
