TLDC breaks ground on next-gen student residence in UBelt

Vertica Torre Lorenzo, the newest premium student residence of Torre Lorenzo Development Corp. (TLDC), broke ground in Manila’s University Belt on July 15.
With Vertica, the premium real estate developer adapts its pioneering student residence product to the changing needs and preferences of today’s learners, and affirms its pledge to making an impact on the real estate landscape.
“If you look at Vertica compared to other Torre Lorenzo projects, it feels different,” said Monica Lorenzo, TLDC director for Business Development and Leisure, at the ceremonial groundbreaking. “It’s younger, brighter and more colorful, as we designed it with the next generation of students in mind.”

Refreshed concept
Vertica is located in San Anton corner Reten streets of Sampaloc district. It is TLDC’s second building in the area, following Torre Lorenzo Central, which was turned over in 2017.
While the project refreshes TLDC’s premium student residence concept, it still speaks to the company’s value for students and their potential.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, TLDC president Tomas P. Lorenzo explained that the company tailored its offerings to meet learners’ and their parents’ demand for residences that are safe, secure, comfortable, durable, and more.
“We address these needs because we take care of the future of the country—the next round of students, architects, engineers, doctors and nurses,” he explained.
Lifestyle anchored on convenience
Its features and amenities make Vertica an outstanding second home for students who want to excel in school while enjoying the other facets of life.
“It will offer a living experience anchored on the convenience of being a few meters away from school, the comfort [TLDC] is known for, and the certainty that we deliver high-quality projects,” explained Monica Lorenzo.
Vertica offers studio to one-bedroom units, ranging from 18 sqm to 33 sqm. Each unit comes with stone countertops, built-in cabinets and shelves in the kitchen, intercom and smart door locks.
This up and coming development offers proximity to schools like San Beda University, University of the East, Far Eastern University, Centro Escolar University, National University-Manila and University of Santo Tomas. Also nearby are top hospitals, malls, places of worship, and transport nodes that include train stations and major thoroughfares.

Modern amenities
Students will also love the modern amenities. They can host group discussions at the study lounges or learn independently at the quiet study spaces. They may hit their fitness targets at the gym, swimming pool and half basketball court. It also has a paw park, and parking for motorcycles and bikes.
Vertica includes secure entry and exit points, as well as CCTV and security staff. An in-house property management team keeps the reception area manned 24/7 and ensures longevity for the development.
“We’re excited to bring this new vision of student living at the University Belt, and at the same time uplifting the neighborhood and setting a new benchmark for what a student residence can be,” said the younger Lorenzo.
