Cordlife Philippines reaffirms excellence in stem cell banking services with back-to-back AABB reaccreditation and ISO recertification

Cordlife Philippines strengthened its commitment to providing world class, high-quality healthcare solutions by receiving reaccreditation and recertification from Internationally-recognized accrediting bodies: Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies (AABB) and the SGS for excellence in cellular therapy services and its Quality Management System, respectively.

The AABB accreditation for Standards for Cellular Therapy Services is an international mark of excellence, demonstrating that the facility’s quality and operational systems have been assessed and determined to meet or exceed the rigorous requirements set by AABB’s Standards Committees.

Meanwhile, the ISO 9001:2015 certification from SGS effectively showcases Cordlife Philippines’ consistent ability to deliver products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, underpinned by a robust quality management system standard.

Cordlife Philippines obtained its reaccreditation from the AABB during a 3-day assessment last June 23-25 and maintained its ISO 9001 certification from the SGS audit held last July 4 at Cordlife’s corporate office and storage facility at UP Ayalaland Technohub in Quezon City.

The recertification and reaccreditation from such renowned accrediting bodies makes Cordlife Philippines the first and only cord blood bank in the country with such a prestigious status. The company has been AABB accredited since 2017 and ISO certified since 2012, reflecting its consistent adherence to global benchmarks.
