3 men caught with P68K worth of drugs in Bataan
Authorities arrested three men and seized about P68,000 worth of suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in a raid on a suspected drug den in Barangay Pantalan Luma, Bataan, on Wednesday based on a tip from a concerned resident.
Agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office identified the suspects only by their aliases: Dungo, 47, the alleged den operator; Hary, 45; and Rence, 48.
All three face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The PDEA said six plastic sachets containing roughly 10 grams of shabu were recovered during the raid, along with assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money used in the entrapment.
Also part of the raiding team were the PDEA Bataan Seaport Interdiction Unit, Orani police and Bataan Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit.
