NEVER-ENDING WOW

Lamborghini has launched the Temerario in Singapore, marking the model’s debut in Asia Pacific.

Positioned in a segment that might suggest it as a successor to the Huracán, the Temerario is far more than a simple replacement. While the Huracán featured a V10 engine and the Aventador carried a V12 power plant, the Temerario introduces an entirely new concept to Lamborghini’s lineup.

The Temerario is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with three electric motors. This combination, producing 920 hp, delivers a truly different experience as it becomes the first production super sports car capable of revving up to 10,000 rpm.

Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann pose with the Temerario.

Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann described the Temerario’s driving sensation as a “never-ending wow,” noting that many drivers instinctively shift gears before reaching the engine’s full potential simply because they are unaccustomed to such high revs.

The power delivery remains relentless, creating a driving experience unlike anything seen before, according to the chief executive.

The Temerario also features a reengineered suspension and chassis system, making it the most agile Lamborghini to date. This blend of high-revving power, turbocharged performance, and electric motor assistance creates a unique driving dynamic.

Those familiar with a high-revving motorcycle will suddenly have at their disposal the added force available in a Lamborghini super sports car; drivers are reminded to stay on the throttle longer to fully appreciate the Temerario’s capabilities.

Performance figures are equally impressive. The Temerario accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.7 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 7.1 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 343 km/h.

These numbers highlight how Lamborghini has successfully integrated modern technology while staying true to its brand’s essence of raw power and excitement.

The Temerario represents a new chapter for Lamborghini, showcasing how electrification can enhance performance without compromising the brand’s identity. With its innovative engineering and thrilling capabilities, this may be the most distinctive Raging Bull yet to emerge from the Lamborghini stable.
