Couple making fake government IDs arrested

A couple was arrested on Monday for allegedly producing counterfeit government IDs in their home in Valenzuela City.

Operatives of the Philippine National Police-Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) seized 391 fake government IDs and other falsified documents during the raid on the house of “Chippie,” 40, and his wife “Kaye,” 44.

“These suspects were selling fake government IDs online for P40 to P1,000 each. We confiscated forged PhilHealth cards, driver’s licenses, national IDs, SSS cards, PRC IDs, birth certificates—you name it, they had it,” PNP-ACG chief Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang said.
