Anvaya Cove wins Southeast Asia’s Best Golf Course, earning GEO certification

Anvaya Cove Golf & Sports Club has been named the Best Golf Course in Southeast Asia and awarded the coveted GEO Certification by the GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf for the club’s sustainable initiatives and activities throughout the years.
This recognition makes Anvaya Cove part of an elite group of only 18 golf facilities in Asia and just the second in the Philippines to achieve the GEO Certification, the industry’s leading ecolabel for sustainability.
According to the GEO Foundation, the certification requires a rigorous review of environmental stewardship, climate action, resource efficiency, and collective participation. For developers and property investors, the designation signals credibility and long-term value at a time when ESG principles are increasingly shaping investment and consumer decisions.

Sustainable practices
Anvaya Cove was cited for initiatives that reduce its ecological footprint and optimize resources.
These include transitioning to endemic Zoysia turf grass to replace imported hybrid species; using recycled water for irrigation; shifting to renewable energy and battery-operated maintenance equipment; establishing a materials recovery facility and composting system; and enhancing carbon sinks through tree planting and careful habitat preservation.
These efforts, combined with strict waste management protocols and facilities, reflect international best practices for sustainable golf course operations.
Global leisure real estate
With its 82-ha, 18-hole course, Anvaya Cove Golf Course has consistently been recognized among the region’s finest.
In 2024, it ranked 19th in Asia in Travel International Golf Magazine and was named Top Golf Course in Southeast Asia by Golf Travel Korea and China. This year, it was recognized as the 15th overall in the Top 100 Golf Courses Asia list.
The latest recognition highlights a growing trend in real estate: leisure estates that deliver environmental credentials are gaining stronger appeal in both tourism and high-value residential markets.

A model for integrated eco-luxury
Anvaya Cove spans over 620 hectares, integrating 17 residential neighborhoods and buildings like Searidge Residences and Seabreeze Verandas with leisure amenities such as the Anvaya Beach & Nature Club, and Golf & Sports Club.
Its masterplan highlights the intersection of sophisticated living and environmental responsibility, offering panoramic views of the waters of Subic Bay and the Zambales and Bataan Mountain Range in a setting designed to preserve natural ecosystems.
For Ayala Land Premier, Anvaya’s sustainability milestones reinforce the company’s long-term strategy of embedding environmental and social governance principles to create a community embedded in nature where there are endless opportunities to forge lifelong memories.
