GameZone gives back with a monumental P1 million donation to various charities

Proving that it is also living up to being a responsible force for good, GameZone made a surprise donation of P1 million towards supporting various local charities and the youth’s education.

At the historic “Swing For Filipino Sports Dream” Music Festival co-presented by International Series Philippines held last October 25 at the Aseana City Open Concert Grounds, GameZone, through its partner the BingoPlus Foundation, donated the money to support various charitable initiatives around the Philippines.

This is part of GameZone’s advocacy of “Ganda through giving,” which aims to transform the spirit of fun, gaming, and competition into a force for social good.

One such community that received a substantial chunk of GameZone’s donation was the community of weavers from Sisidlan by Virginia, who personally received a grant of P500,000 from Jasper Vicencio, BingoPlus Board of Trustees member, and Angela Camin-Wieneke, BingoPlus Foundation Executive Director.

The other causes also to receive a donation from GameZone include programs and initiatives that cover love and equality for all, environmental care, community development, and support for the youth sector. GameZone also had a booth at the festival in which event-goers could learn more about their brief but impactful history of social responsibility, as well as play interactive games that allowed for public participation.

A historic night of world-class entertainment and music

GameZone was able to amplify their message of support for both Filipino communities in need and local athletes through the immense star power of the festival.

Headlined by international superstars Apl.de.ap from global rap group The Black Eyed Peas and hit Norwegian DJ and record producer Alan Walker, and supported by beloved OPM bands Bamboo, Sandwich, Urbandub, and Lily performing some of their greatest hits, the festival brought together legions of Filipino music fans and gamers for a night of singing, dancing, and vibing to their favorite songs.

In addition to the music, festival-goers also had a wide variety of different booths to play in, as well as a movie screening corner to spend time in between the featured musical acts.

Bringing together the spirit of bayanihan and the infectious energy of the artists’ music, the festival was successful in inspiring unity in a celebration of success, which GameZone attributes to their act of giving back to the community.

The BingoPlus Foundation continues its mission to reach underserved communities, while GameZone strengthens its commitment to partner with organizations that share the same goal of helping others. Together, both institutions demonstrate that beauty lies not just in the games Filipinos play, but also in the lives they touch.

As GameZone proudly carries its banner of “Ganda ng GameZone,” it reminds everyone that being ma-Ganda means being responsible, generous, and compassionate—using every opportunity to create a positive impact on the Filipino people.

At GameZone, we believe gaming should always be fun, fair, and responsible. We encourage our community to play for enjoyment, not as a source of income. Gambling is not an acceptable way of livelihood, and it does not solve financial problems. To learn more about GameZone’s initiatives, visit gzone.ph.
