Suzuki parades world-class products at Japan Mobility Show 2025
The Japan Mobility Show 2025 is currently being held at the Tokyo Big Sight from October 30 to November 9.
Organized by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, the biennial affair is participated in by hundreds of exhibitors and attended by thousands of spectators at the vast convention center right at the very heart of Tokyo.
One of their staunch exhibitors since time immemorial has been compact vehicle experts, Suzuki.
This year, with a theme “By Your Side”, the Japanese compact carmaker outlines its vision by concentrating their technologies as “a comprehensive mobility manufacturer, for various infrastructure mobility that can help solve the problems of each customer”.
Few of its all-star line for the show are the concept model of BEV minicar “Vision e-Sky”, concept model of BEV motorcycle “e-VanVan”, next-generation four-leg mobility “MOQBA 2” and few of its outboard motor engines.
Mini car
At the forefront of the display is the “Vision e-Sky, BEV minicar”. This concept model is eyed for commercial use come next year. This can be one’s daily driver, exuding a fun and positive vibe. As a full electrified vehicle it seems to promise the customer a “cheerful”, practical and efficient way of bringing people from point A to B.
It features a compact dimension with its 3,395 mm overall length, 1,475 mm overall width, while standing at 1,625 mm.
On a single charge, the vehicle to travel a range of 270km.
It seems cutesy on the outside. Inside, however, cabin includes a “squircle-shaped” steering wheel with multi-function controls, dual digital screens for driver information and infotainment, and a modern, minimalist design with LED ambient lighting.
Mini-commercial van
Another spectacle is Suzuki’s mini-commercial BEV van. This vehicle is made in joint venture with Suzuki Motor Corporation, Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Toyota Motor Corporation.
Dubbed as the “e-Every”, the mini-van “combines Suzuki and Daihatsu’s small-car expertise with Toyota’s electrification technology”. This aims to create a BEV system suited for mini-commercial applications. Measuring 3,395mm long, 1,475mm wide, and 1,890mm tall, the vehicle can log a driving range of up to 200km.
Its boxy design is intended to maximize cargo space, and sliding doors for easy access, while sporting a vehicle-to-load system.

Fronx Flex-Fuel Capability
Now, to top this off, Suzuki at the JMS introduced the Fronx FFV*2 Concept.
Locally, the Fronx has already made its debut, marking one of Suzuki’s top-notch electrified vehicles to date.
What’s cool about the Fronx FFV*2 Concept is its environmental technology that uses ethanol-blended fuel as a strategy to achieve carbon neutrality. This aims “to expand cleaner mobility options”, offering customers a path to a “happy future” by reducing reliance on conventional fossil fuels.
The engine is modified to run on a blend of petrol and ethanol, capable of handling up to E85 fuel (85-percent bioethanol mixed fuel. With this, it further reduces CO2 emissions, utilizing bioethanol, which is plant-based and a renewable fuel source, significantly reduces net carbon dioxide emissions compared to using standard petrol alone.
For its engine modifications, the fuel injector, fuel pump, and engine control settings were specifically tweaked to ensure the vehicle can reliably operate with the higher ethanol content blends.
According to Suzuki, this concept is part of its broader strategy “to offer various eco-friendly mobility solutions, alongside electric vehicles and hybrid models, which cater to different regional energy infrastructures and help reduce dependence on imported oil.”
The technology allows for the use of varying ethanol-petrol blends, making it a highly convenient and practical option as the infrastructure for higher ethanol blends.
The concept represents Suzuki’s commitment to diversified, sustainable technologies tailored to different market needs.
Other Suzuki models on display are motorcycles, such as the e-VanVan, BEV fun bike, the all-new GSX-8T and GSX-8TT neo-retro models, foldable electric bike with pedals, e-Address BEV scooter (Suzuki’s first global strategic BEV motorcycle), MOQBA 2, next-generation four-leg mobility, the 60th anniversary of outboard motors and many others.
