Talk of the Town: House duty: Censure Barzaga

Comments on “House duty: Censure Barzaga,” (Editorial 11/06/25) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:

Rep. Barzaga, the neophyte congressman of Cavite’s 4th district is an absolute disappointment to the electorates who voted him into office, and a lingering nuisance for his political foes who now targets of his incessant unfounded attacks. Rep. Barzaga needs to realize that decorum and respect for the rights of others are traits expected from him by people he vowed to serve.

If Bratzaga wants to abolish the PCG for being useless, I’d also stronlgly suggest considering the abolition of the House, which has been highly irresponsible in crafting the annual budget. Congress and the Senate are supposed to create the budget and pass laws that improve the lives of Filipinos. Instead, they monitor the budget to secure large commissions from projects in their districts.
