Beyond extraordinary: RHMC marks 31 years of inspiring success

Vaughn Alviar

Royale Homes Marketing Corp. (RHMC), an exclusive marketing arm of Sta. Lucia Land Inc., brought its sales force and staff to the town of Bauan in Batangas to celebrate 31 years of connecting Filipinos with gainful real estate investments.

RHMC treated the people who made this success possible to a two-day escapade at Catalina Lake Residences and SotoGrande Hotel and Convention Center Batangas—two Sta. Lucia Land developments that have elevated the standards of vertical living and hospitality in Bauan.

Catalina Lake Residences, one of the Sta. Lucia projects marketed by RHMC, is a luxurious lakeside village built around a serene man-made lake.

The Royale Homes Marketing Corp. is spearheaded by its executive committee which includes (from left) executive vice president for Sales, Marketing, and Training Ma. Carmina A. Sotto; president Matilde Robles; executive vice president for Finance and Administration Melinda A. Bernardino.

Rising to the top

The sight of splendor during the anniversary celebration would have allowed the RHMC sales force to reminisce how the company steadily rose to the top. It was a great moment to reflect on the year’s theme: “We are ONE at 31: Beyond Extraordinary, Inspiring a Legacy.”

Theirs is, indeed, a story worth telling and retelling. RHMC started on Sept. 8, 1994, as a single-room office operated by childhood friends Matilde P. Robles, Ma. Carmina A. Sotto and Ma. Melinda A. Bernardino.

By 1998, they had successfully marketed projects from Pangasinan to Davao, impressing Sta. Lucia Land enough to make their company an exclusive marketer. Decades since, RHMC has closed innumerable deals for developments as diverse as Sta. Lucia Land’s portfolio.

The anniversary is truly a precious milestone celebrated by both Sta. Lucia Land and Royale Homes. (From left) RHMC president Matilde Robles, Sta. Continuing the success

Today, this marketing arm continues to push dozens of projects to end-users and investors, from residences in modern communities spread across the country, commercial spaces to golf estates and beach resorts.

It also boasts of a headquarters now sprawling across a whole office floor. There, it continues to empower and inspire its sales force to have the same grit and dedication to excellence the three founders possessed when they decided to build a company together.

Those women remain with the company, as its bigwigs. Robles is RHMC’s president, while Sotto and Bernardino are EVPs for Sales, Marketing and Training, and for Finance and Administration, respectively.

Sotto and Bernardino were joined by other RHMC executive members including vice presidents Joanna Robles-Tolentino, Marvin Bernardino and Erica Sotto-Davis—the next generation of leaders fully equipped to take up the cudgels for the company. Sta. Lucia Land president and CEO Exequiel Robles also graced the occasion.

Fun games and challenges

The anniversary celebration opened at Catalina Lake Sports Clubhouse, with different sets of team building challenges and fun games. Later in the day, everyone came together for a Thanksgiving Mass.

RHMC capped the day with an awarding ceremony, where it honored its outstanding employees. These include Karen Cua (Supervisory Category), Benjamin Tating Jr. (Technical Category) and Roselyn Punto (Staff Category).

The company gave out special awards, too, like the Service Award, Outstanding Branch, Favorite of the Family, and Employee of the Year. All those who were recognized received a special token and cash prizes.

That evening, executives also revisited RHMC’s key moments and milestones, and raffled off exciting prizes.

SotoGrande Hotel and Convention Center served as the host for the evening. A good night’s sleep meant having the energy and enthusiasm to begin Day 2 with a high-spirited fun run around Catalina Lake Residences, traversing a scenic route that included the lighthouse and lake area.

Throughout the event, RHMC emphasized the importance of unity in continuing to build an inspiring legacy of excellent service, worthwhile investments, and unparalleled growth beyond 31 years.
