Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) officially introduced its newest nameplate in the country — the all-new Mitsubishi Destinator at the ASEANA City Concert Grounds in Parañaque.

Before hundreds of guests from its stakeholders, dealers, bank partners and the media, the seven-seater SUV was presented and was likewise test-driven, underscoring superior features that blend the premium driving feel of a sport utility vehicle with the versatility and practicality of a multipurpose vehicle.

“After months of anticipation, we are thrilled to finally introduce the newest seven-seater family SUV, the all-new Mitsubishi Destinator,” shared MMPC president and CEO, Ritsu Imeada during his speech at the launch event.

“This model represents not only the future of Mitsubishi’s design and engineering but also demonstrates the strong belief that our customers are ‘destined for more’,” he continued.

Furthermore, Imeada also said that over the past years, MMPC has continued to achieve strong and steady growth in sales.

“We are very proud of what we have accomplished together with all of you. With the addition of this all-new Destinator, we are confident that our momentum will continue; and that this model will further solidify our position in the highly-competitive SUV segment.”

For him, the vehicle embodies three design pillars that define its identity: confidence, capability, and prestige

“Whether for weekday drives or weekend adventures, the Destinator is engineered to go wherever life takes you with confidence and style,” he added.

The Destinator exudes a commanding presence on the road with its signature Dynamic Shield front fascia, stylish LED headlamps, daytime running lights, sleek body character lines improving aerodynamics capabilities, complemented by 18-inch machine-cut two-tone alloy wheels.

These exterior features go well with its best-in-class 214-mm high ground clearance.

Inside, it features high-quality materials, along with comfortable ergonomic materials, while being equipped with Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing (MMSS) with Multi-Around Monitor (MAM).

Other creature comforts include the following: a 12.3-inch smartphone display audio (SDA) with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; smart rear view mirror, eight-inch multi-information display (MID), eight-speaker Dynamic Sound YAMAHA Premium Audio System, seatback tables on the second row, a Nanoe™X air purification system, 64-color ambient lighting in both front and rear, and many others.

Under its hood is the newly-developed 1.5L 4B40 turbocharged engine that produces 162hp and 250 N-m of torque, combining power, efficiency, and performance in one refined package.

The Destinator also sports five selectable Drive Modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, Mud, and the new Tarmac Mode, ensuring optimal performance and stability on any terrain.

What’s more is that the SUV also debuts the Mitsubishi Connect, the brand’s first vehicle equipped with Connected Car Services (CCS) in the country, giving drivers enhanced safety and convenience, along with peace of mind.

Safety-wise, the Destinator was able to achieve the highest five-star safety rating in the ASEAN NCAP, a comprehensive safety performance assessment program for new vehicles in the region.

Locally, the vehicle lineup comes in three variants: The GLX Turbo CVT – P1,389,000 (SRP) and P1,289,000 (introductory price); GLS Turbo CVT- P1,599,000 (SRP) and P 1,499,000 (introductory price); and GT Turbo CVT – P1,929,000 (SRP) and P1,799,000 (introductory price).

It is available in six colors: Quartz White Pearl, Lunar Blue Mica, Graphite Gray Metallic, Jet Black Mica, Blade Silver Metallic and Red Metallic, including two two-tone color options featuring a black roof—exclusive for the GT variant.

In addition to this, MMPC is extending a Launch Event Promo exclusively for customers who place reservations during the four-day launch and test drive event at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay between November 20–23, 2025. They also get to have their units released on or before January 31, 2026.
