BIZ BUZZ: Megaworld wins another top award

Megaworld doesn’t only have an impressive property portfolio to brag about, as it has also earned the badge as one of the region’s top companies to work for.

The real estate giant landed on US-based Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For in Southeast Asia, the only local property firm that made the cut.

The group recorded an outstanding 94 percent approval rating from Megaworld employees as a “great place to work,” said to be the highest rating among all major real estate developers in the Philippines.

Its hospitality arm, Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, likewise was recognized for having one of the highest satisfaction ratings in the region in its category, joining other international hotel chains as one of the region’s best hospitality employers.

“To be named among Southeast Asia’s best companies to work for is a proud testament to our commitment to business excellence and to our continuing pursuit of nurturing our people towards greater success,” said Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso, president and CEO of Megaworld.

This victory came on top of other recognitions Megaworld bagged earlier this year, including securing a spot at Time Magazine’s Best Companies in Asia-Pacific and the Philippines’ Best Employers 2026 by Statista.
