Only a free market—freed from state intervention and legalized theft (aka taxation) is the ultimate safeguard against public corruption. Return the power to decide how individuals spend their money—abolish/repeal regulations and agencies—it is time for a complete rethink of the notion that people need the government to survive and thrive.

While these measures for transparency and accountability seem to give hope, they are again a confirmation of “The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws” – Tacitus.
