Cebu Pacific is marking its 30th anniversary with a specially designed Airbus A321neo featuring livery by Cebu-based artists, set for delivery this year as part of the airline’s fleet modernization program.

The upcoming aircraft, dubbed the “Dreamer Plane,” will carry Cebu Pacific’s signature blue, yellow and green palette and feature an illustrated character called “Dreamer Girl,” which the airline said symbolizes the universal aspiration to travel and explore.

The livery was created by multi-awarded artist duo Happy Garaje and will be applied to an A321neo scheduled for delivery later this year from Hamburg, Germany.

“The initiative highlights Cebu Pacific’s 30-year journey, honors the passengers who have flown with the airline, and reinforces its mission of making air travel accessible to more Filipinos and regional travelers,” the Gokongwei-led low-cost carrier said on Monday.

Amid heightened discussions on persistently high travel costs in the Philippines, the airline said the livery represented its mission to make travel more accessible and its goal of connecting “people to the world where dreams fly.”

“The ‘Dreamer Plane’ represents Cebu Pacific’s commitment to democratizing air travel through affordability and accessibility,” it said. “It particularly recognizes first-time travelers and those who dream of exploring beyond their immediate environments.”

Once delivered, the A321neo will operate on Cebu Pacific’s domestic and short-haul regional routes.

The aircraft can seat up to 236 passengers in an unmodified cabin and will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM engines.

According to Airbus, the A321neo delivers up to 20-percent lower fuel burn and carbon dioxide emissions per seat compared with previous generation aircraft.

This expected delivery follows a P1.4-trillion aircraft order Cebu Pacific sealed with Airbus in 2024 for up to 152 A321neo jets. At the time, it was the largest aircraft order in Philippine aviation history.

Beyond the special livery, Cebu Pacific has marked its 30th anniversary with a series of branding changes, including the launch of a new brand video and a recently released soundtrack performed by OPM band Over October.
