Top Chery dealers feted at much-anticipated GRIT Awards 2025

In recognition of all the efforts exerted by their dealers in putting more and more satisfied customers behind the wheel of Chery vehicles and in providing excellent after-sales service, United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), the exclusive Philippine distributor of Chery automobiles, held the Chery GRIT Awards at the ACEA Beach Resort last February 3 in Subic.

Now in its fifth year, the Chery GRIT Awards is UAAGI’s premier annual event dedicated to honoring the resilience, dedication, and outstanding performance of Chery’s fast-growing nationwide dealership network.

The ceremony celebrates excellence across all aspects of operations, presenting awards for top achievements in vehicle sales, after-sales service, parts availability, and customer satisfaction.

It distinguishes both individual high-flyers and cohesive teams who have successfully driven growth across Chery’s diverse product segments.

Ultimately, the event highlights the unyielding “grit” required to maintain high industry standards and raise the bar of excellence among dealerships, culminating in the presentation of the prestigious Dealer of the Year Award.

“The Chery GRIT Awards recognize the true advocates of excellence, achievement, and ultimately, the success of Chery—our hardworking dealers,” UAAGI Chairman Rommel Sytin shared.

“Our Chery dealers have consistently displayed the ability to not just survive, but to thrive, in a highly competitive industry. This is not just an award, but a hard-fought victory amidst a highly competitive, nationwide network of top-performing dealerships,” Sytin added.

Nominees and winners of the GRIT Awards reflect the health and robustness of the Chery dealership network, powering the brand to be able to readily serve customers with world-class vehicles and strong after-sales support.

The Chery GRIT Awards bestow the much-coveted Dealer of the Year Award (DOYA) for Sales and for Service, as well as Individual Awards for Sales and Service for the various Chery models for both NCR and Provincial categories. In all, a total of 18 awards were handed out.

“On this special night, Chery recognizes our dealers’ collective efforts towards fulfilling our commitment to providing world-class vehicles and outstanding customer service,” Chery Auto Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt said.

Chery Alabang receives the Dealer of the Year Award

Chery Alabang was recognized as the Dealer of the Year for the GRIT Awards 2025. This year marks Chery Alabang’s fifth consecutive year of being recognized for its outstanding performance. The award was received by Mr. Mark Chiongbian, Dealer Principal of Frontier Automotive Marilao Corporation.

“I would like to express my appreciation to our Chery team and our partners at United Asia Automotive Group Inc. What began as a group of colleagues has grown into a close-knit family working tirelessly each day in the pursuit of excellence,” Chery Alabang Dealer Principal Mark Chiongbian said.
