Moving out of our glossy cocoon for a bigger stage

If you’re not into golf nowadays, you’re definitely missing a lot.

We golfers are having the best of times, enjoying our time on the fairways and greens not just for ourselves but even watching our local hero Miguel Tabuena winning in the grandest of stages as the first Filipino winner of the International Series at Sta. Elena. He’s now playing on an even bigger stage as a wild card on the LIV Golf Tour.

So on that note, Inquirer Golf needs to join the bandwagon. That of moving to a bigger stage. After so many years of staying in our glossy paper cocoon, providing the golf community with their dose of news and features, we move to the broadsheet. At least for once a month. You’ve seen us on glossy pages, you read us every minute on our hugely popular social media page and maybe, it’s a good idea to let you know that we’re part of the big paper once in a while.

The people you’ll see writing in our broadsheet version will be the same writers and columnists you’ve been reading all these years from the magazine that you pick up from the dedicated stands in your home clubs or favorite pro shops whether you’re in Baguio, in Boracay or Davao.

These are exciting times for golf and we intend to add more color.

We couldn’t have lasted 29 years without you following and supporting us.
