Never underestimate The Strength of the Youth
We are aghast at the statement made by Sen. Robinhood Padilla, who seemed to underestimate the strength of the youth today. (see “Robin Padilla to kids today: Sorry, you are weak!” Inquirer.net, 2/11/26).
The senator seems to forget that the youth have the power to question, challenge, and redefine the norms. He forgets that the youth of today are leaders of tomorrow!
But we have to thank him for making the claim, which we believe will help ignite the embers burning in the hearts and minds of today’s young people and awaken them to rise to the occasion.
We call on the youth, to those who will be qualified to vote in 2028, to go to the polls and vote for candidates most qualified for the positions they will run for. They have seen enough corruption committed by persons who now occupy positions in government but used their power instead to enrich themselves in office at the expense of the people they are supposed to serve. Do not vote for clowns who only provide “warm bodies” in support of someone else’s personal motives.
Arise, young ones! Show them your strength and let them hear your voice loud and clear, expressed in the ballots.
Your own future is at stake, so take the matter into your own “hands!”
