Lisbet K. Esmael

The First Gen Group has secured new renewable supply deals with 13 partner facilities of Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc.

The Lopez-led firm said on Thursday the agreements were forged under different government programs that allow consumers to pick their own power suppliers.

Mount Grace Hospitals is one of the country’s largest hospital networks and a member of the United Laboratories Group.

Under the retail aggregation program, First Gen will deliver 4.5 megawatts of electricity to ten Mount Grace partner-hospitals.

These include Divine Grace Medical Center in Cavite; Capitol Medical Center and the Fe del Mundo Medical Center in Quezon City; and Grace Medical Center in Bulacan. Also included are Healthserv Los Banos Medical Center and Westlake Medical Center in Laguna; Medical Center Manila; Medical Center Paranaque; Tagaytay Medical Center; and The Doctors’ Hospital in Bacolod City.
