For the fourth straight year, the Philippine Daily Inquirer is celebrating Women’s Month by recognizing Women of Power from various fields, including the world of business.
This year, the business section celebrates Rhoda Huang, the first professional outside of the billionaire Gotianun family to run Filinvest Development Corp.; Marilene Acosta—CEO of record-breaking Pag-Ibig Fund; Aileen Judan-Jiao—President and Country general manager of IBM Philippines and Rossana Fajardo, country managing partner at leading multidisciplinary professional services firm SGV & Co.
They join the ranks of Inquirer awardees for 2026 who were chosen based on their professional achievements; contributions to innovation and creativity; effective mentorship or empowerment through education; community impact as champion of the environment and sustainability; promotion of inclusivity, diversity and social justice; change management or crisis resolution; and pioneering work in tech or digital spaces.
40th year
The Philippine Daily Inquirer, which is celebrating its 40th year, continues to recognize the achievements of women as part of its enduring mission to tell the Filipino story and deepen its connection with the community.
The Inquirer recognizes that women continue to shape, lead and redefine that story across sectors and communities, thus are worthy of celebration as they inspire the next generation of women who are striving to achieve similar feats.
