Inquirer releases 40th anniversary shirts in partnership with Linya-Linya
Over the past 40 years, the Philippine Daily Inquirer has displayed an unwavering commitment to deliver “balanced news, fearless views” by telling the Filipino story with integrity, responsibility, and passion. The Inquirer remains dedicated to inspiring and empowering the Filipino people. With a goal to impart change in society, the Inquirer sparks discussions on critical issues and ceaselessly calls for action.
With that, the Philippine Daily Inquirer is bringing its vision and mission closer to its readers outside the pages of the newspaper. Yes, you’ve read that right. Now you can bring (and wear) the Inquirer anytime and anywhere with you.
In collaboration with apparel brand Linya-Linya, the Philippine Daily Inquirer has released a limited collection of statement tees in celebration of its 40th anniversary.
Made with 60% cotton, 40% polyester, and 100% comfort, the Philippine Daily Inquirer x Linya-Linya statement tees come in two colors (gray and white). They also carry two simple yet impactful statements: “Nababasa Kita” and “May Papel Ka Sa Mundo.”

“Nababasa Kita,” which translates to “I can read you,” is a statement both the Philippine Daily Inquirer and its readers can relate to. As the journalistic voice of several generations, the Inquirer has been the companion of many Filipino readers through its 40 years of service. Moreover, the Inquirer continuously “reads” its audience by providing relevant everyday news and being a pillar of truth.

“May Papel Ka Sa Mundo,” on the other hand, reminds readers of their purpose and role. The Philippine Daily Inquirer wants its audience to have a constant reminder that they do matter, and that they play a specific and important role as changemakers in society.
