The protest by PUV drivers against registration for modern vehicles has borne fruit. The high fuel prices will wipe them out without an electric vehicle. The sheer hard headedness against doing what was right has delayed what should be present now.

Eye opener

This cash aid is a welcome relief for PUV drivers, but lasting solutions like fair fuel pricing and sustainable transport policies are still needed.
