Every year, corruption costs up to 25 percent of the national budget, and the list of those held accountable is practically empty. Under these conditions, Sara has a good chance of getting away with it. After all, this is the Philippines.

The problem with her, rather than confronting the issue at hand, her response consistently diverts attention to unrelated points. Her strategy strengthens the opposing views, undermines public confidence, and only reinforces existing criticisms on her.
