RLC expands with new Clark FedEx site
Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) and Asian Infrastructure Holdings Corp. (AIHC) have started construction of a new built-to-suit logistics facility for FedEx at Clark International Airport, expanding the listed property developer’s industrial and logistics footprint in Central Luzon.
The Gokongwei-led property developer said the facility would rise within the Clark aviation and logistics hub in Pampanga under RL Clark Logistics Inc. (RCLX), its joint venture with AIHC.
RCLX is 85-percent owned by RLC, while AIHC holds the remaining 15 percent stake.
The planned development will occupy around 15 hectares and is expected to deliver close to 78,000 square meters of gross floor area. Completion is targeted by the first quarter of 2028.
Robinsons Land said the project would strengthen its logistics and industrial platform under Robinsons Logistix and Industrials Inc. (RLX), which focuses on logistics and industrial facilities.
The company said the development would also expand its presence in a corridor supported by cargo movement, aviation activity and regional distribution links.
“The upcoming facility also supports Robinsons Land’s broader direction of expanding investment properties and building more diversified income streams,” the company said.
Through RLX, Robinsons Land said it was widening its industrial footprint to support portfolio diversification and strengthen recurring income over time.
Once completed, the facility will give RLC a large-format logistics development in Clark, further deepening its presence in one of the country’s busiest industrial and transport corridors.
