Sixth sense
Santa Rosa is the richest city in the province of Laguna and frequently ranks among the top component cities in the entire Philippines in terms of revenue, assets, and overall economic performance. Known as the Lion City of South Luzon, it boasts an annual income surpassing P6 billion.
This strategic position has transformed the city from a quiet agricultural town into a bustling suburban residential hub and a powerhouse economic center.

Recently, Synergyauto Ventures Corp. Group (SVC) officially opened its sixth Nissan dealership in the thriving city.
From Sucat, Parañaque, Dasmariñas and Carmona in Cavite, and Alabang, Muntinlupa, Calamba, Laguna, SVC has just now officially opened its newest dealership in the country’s “Motor City”. With this, the company aspires to provide a consistent customer experience, which gives the same exemplary process and experience that foster the joy and fulfillment that set SVC’s dealerships apart from the rest.

This feat further reaffirms SVC’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, strong dealership performance in both sales and aftersales, along with the continued growth of the brand in the country.
“Today marks a proud milestone for our organization as we officially open our sixth Nissan dealership under the SVC Group. What began as a vision to build a strong and customer-focused automotive organization has grown into a network of dealerships that continuously strives to deliver excellence in every community we serve,” said SVC head honcho Doroteo “Tey” Sornet during his opening remarks.

“Together with my partners, Paul and Mark Tionson, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to Nissan Philippines for their unwavering trust and support,” he added.

For him, the strong partnership they have built over the years has been instrumental in their growth, and they remain fully committed to supporting the Nissan brand and helping drive its success in the country.
Award-winning dealer
Sornet further shared that this year has been especially memorable for the SVC Group.
“We are deeply humbled and honored to have been recognized again as the Global Dealer of the Year, NCR Dealer of the Year, and Provincial Dealer of the Year.”
Per Sornet, these awards are more than trophies or titles. They represent the countless hours of hard work, sacrifice, resilience, and dedication demonstrated by their people every single day.
“They represent the trust our customers place in us, the confidence of our business partners, and the strength of our collaboration with Nissan Philippines,” he continued.
“While we celebrate these achievements, we do so with humility. We recognize that every accomplishment carries with it a greater responsibility—to continue improving, to continue innovating, and to continue raising the standards of customer service and operational excellence.”
Strengthening Nissan in the country
Nissan Philippines president, Yoshinori Kanazawa, who was also in attendance, extended his salutes to SVC for the feat.

“This milestone reflects our shared commitment to bringing world-class mobility solutions and exceptional customer experiences closer to Filipino communities. As one of the fastest-growing cities in South Luzon, Sta. Rosa plays a vital role in Nissan’s continued expansion, serving as an important hub that connects customers across Laguna and neighboring provinces,” he said.
“The opening of Nissan Sta. Rosa strengthens our network and demonstrates our confidence in the region’s dynamic growth and potential. More importantly, it is a testament to the strong partnership between Nissan Philippines and Synergyauto Ventures Corporation, whose dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction continues to contribute to the success of the Nissan brand.”
Sta. Rosa Congressman Roy Gonzales, for his part, meantime said that more than the opening of a new dealership; it signifies a continued vote of confidence in the economic vitality of the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna and the immense potential of our people.

“This milestone reflects the strength of our local business environment, the resilience of our workforce, and the growing opportunities that drive progress in our communities.”
For Gonzales, as one of the country’s leading centers for industry, commerce, and innovation, the City of Santa Rosa continues to attract investments that create jobs, stimulate economic activity, and contribute to sustainable development.
Nissan Nostalgia
Sornet, who was once an employee of LICA Auto Group, former owners of Nissan Sta. Rosa, the opening of the dealership was partly a trip down memory lane.
He said that his years with LICA were instrumental in shaping his professional journey.
“Serving as COO gave me valuable experience in dealership operations, team development, customer service, and business growth. I remain grateful for the opportunities and lessons I gained during that chapter of my career,” he shared.
This time, for him, having the opportunity this time to operate Nissan Sta. Rosa under SVC is both humbling and rewarding. It represents the culmination of his many years of learning, hard work, and relationship-building within the automotive industry.
“More importantly, it allows us to implement our own vision, culture, and standards while remaining fully committed to delivering exceptional service to Nissan customers.”
“I do not see it as leaving one organization behind, but rather as building upon the foundation that my previous experiences helped create,” he continued.
“At the end of the day, dealerships are built by people. While facilities and investments are important, success ultimately comes from a team that shares a common purpose and values. I am proud of what we are building at Nissan Sta. Rosa and look forward to the journey ahead.”
