A first look at Makati’s next green address
Arthaland has officially opened earlier this week the Arthaland Gallery featuring Sondris, located at the former CWC Interiors headquarters along Arnaiz Avenue in Makati City.
“This gallery has been thoughtfully designed to offer an immersive preview of
Sondris ahead of its completion, where every space is deliberately shaped to guide visitors through a seamless journey, with each experience revealing a different aspect of the development—from its design philosophy and craftsmanship to the features and details that define life at
Sondris,” said Ar. Jay E. Caniza, head of Planning and Design Group at Arthaland.
The 37-story Sondris—a collaboration beween Arthaland and Japan’s Mitsui Fudosan—rises along Arnaiz Avenue in Makati City as a “premium, multi-certified green residence shaped by intentional design, sustainability and wellness.”
Pamela S. Go, head of Marketing Group at Arthaland, added that the Arthaland Gallery will enable guests to feel as if they are being transported into the kind of composed environment that Sondris is envisioned to offer. The second floor of the Gallery will provide that immersive experience, while showcasing the craftsmanship that went into the development.
“The Arthaland Gallery was created to give clients a more meaningful and engaging way to experience our developments. We wanted a space where people can explore not just the homes themselves, but also the lifestyle, design philosophy, and attention to detail that define every project,” Go added.

A visual preview
Designed by Studio Ong, the Arthaland Gallery gives buyers a closer look at how Sondris will move from concept to completed residence. It features a 46-sqm one-bedroom model unit and a 116-sqm two-bedroom model unit, allowing visitors to assess the scale, flow, finishes and design options.
It also shows how Sondris is designed for different urban lifestyles. Buyers can see how the interiors come together, how units can be customized, and how sustainability features are meant to work in daily life.
Arthaland is offering three interior design schemes. “Timeless and Transitional,” seen in the two-bedroom model unit, uses layered neutrals, natural textures and soft lighting for a warm, enduring look. “Modern and Industrial,” seen in the one-bedroom model unit, offers a cleaner, more contemporary character. “Formal and Serene” uses darker tones and richer materials for buyers who prefer a more polished, intimate home.

A standout
While the Gallery sets expectations for Sondris, the project’s groundbreaking last month raises anticipation. Amid a more cautious property landscape, this milestone affirmed Arthaland’s commitment to move the development forward.
Once completed, Sondris is expected to stand out in Makati’s competitive residential market.
It will have an efficient building envelope with a 27 percent glass ratio to optimize natural daylight, manage temperatures and provide energy savings. It will feature a potager garden, rainwater management systems, bicycle-friendly elevators, bike lanes, and a repair station.
Inside the units, low flow plumbing fixtures will reduce water consumption by at least 20 percent. Double-glazed façades, energy efficient airconditioning and lighting systems are expected to lower energy use, with projected savings of at least 40 percent in electric bills.
The units will also have a Dedicated Outdoor Air System that brings in fresh, filtered air; carbon monoxide monitors; and operable windows, among others, to ensure healthier spaces.
No doubt, Sondris is shaping up to be one of Makati’s most promising residences, bringing together premium design, sustainability, wellness and value in one prime address.
