Deepal previews future of mobility

Ronald Rey M. delos Reyes

DEEPAL Philippines gave a chance to spectators of the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) 2026 to take a glimpse of the “future of mobility.” The brand is another new portfolio under multi-brand company, Autohub Group.

The all-new S07 battery electric vehicle (BEV) was just previewed at the recent three-day affair at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, ahead of its official December 2026 local debut.

Visitors of the booth were awe-inspired by this award-winner’s contemporary design, intelligent technology, premium comfort, and all-electric performance.

“The future of mobility is here, and with the DEEPAL S07, the future has never looked this good,” said Willy Tee Ten, president of Autohub Group and the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), organizers of the PEVS.

According to Tee Ten, the DEEPAL S07 is a true expression of modern automotive design, as it has earned international recognition, including the Torino Automotive Design Award (TADA) for Best Exterior Designed Car and the prestigious Red Dot Award for Product Design.

He even divulged that as part of the pre-launch announcement, DEEPAL Philippines is giving a special introductory price of P2,350,000 for the first 50 clients, from its suggested retail price of P2,488,000, representing savings of P138,000.

“This is your opportunity to experience the next generation of electric mobility, with distinctive design, intelligent innovation, and premium comfort.”

At the onset, it exudes a sleek and sexy vibe with its yellow-hued cocoon-shaped profile. No wonder it captured the nod of international judges.

Inside, a refined cabin greets you as premium comfort abounds, together with intelligent technology, and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Its spacious cabin is made possible by its 2,900 mm wheelbase, ventilated front seats, a panoramic roof with an electric sunshade, and double-layer sound-insulating glass.

Front and center is a 15.6-inch Sunflower touchscreen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 platform, along with four-zone voice interaction for a more intuitive digital experience. Together with it is a 53-inch augmented-reality head-up display, four-zone voice interaction, and a 14-speaker audio system. Cooled wireless charging and vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability add everyday practicality.

Under its hood is a rear-wheel-drive electric system producing 160 kW and 320 Nm of torque. It also features four driving modes and Comfort Stop. While its stated NEDC driving range can reach up to 585 kilometers, with energy consumption of 16.3 kWh per 100 kilometers.

Safety-wise, it has earned five-star safety ratings from both Euro NCAP and ANCAP, two internationally recognized independent vehicle safety assessment programs.

Other driver-assistance technologies include: intelligent self-parking assistance, helping parking maneuvers, alongside a 360-degree panoramic camera and parking sensors that improve visibility when navigating tight spaces.

“At DEEPAL, we believe premium mobility is no longer just about getting from one destination to another. It is about how a vehicle fits into your lifestyle and makes every journey better,” said Deepal Philippines general manager, Mark Gabriel.

“That is why our approach is built around three pillars: Comfort, Convenience, and Experience.”

And these are what we can look forward to and more this December.
